Terms and conditions

Contract and scope

The contracting party for paid service packages and the visa service is [Firmenname / Legal company name], [Straße, Hausnummer, PLZ, Ort, Land / Registered address]. The scope is described before payment. “Order with obligation to pay” submits a binding offer; the contract forms upon express acceptance of the order. A payment receipt alone does not replace acceptance.

Visa service

Submitting a request is free. The scope of assistance and the [Servicepauschale] are confirmed before any work begins. Authority fees must be stated separately and are not automatically included. Entry, visa approval and authority appointments are not guaranteed. The competent authority alone decides.

Delivery, prices and payment

Written results are provided in your portal; the Activation Bundle includes a PDF and web dossier. Delivery timeframe: [Bearbeitungszeit]. Prices are one-off amounts in euro including statutory VAT. Payment is through Stripe; available methods are shown there. Only verified payments are recorded as paid. Arthur and My move remain free. Unconfigured payment does not activate a service.

Separate specialist requests and cooperation

Membership, a visa request or a package purchase does not grant insurance broker authority. Insurance and tax requests each require separate authorisation. Partner contracts are separate. You provide correct documents; mandatory personal authority appointments remain your responsibility. Arthur assists preparation and does not replace legally reserved professional advice.

Liability and rights

Statutory remedies and consumer rights apply. Liability for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health follows statutory law. For slight negligence involving essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical loss; mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

Governing law and jurisdiction

German law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection in their habitual country of residence. Statutory courts have jurisdiction for consumers; no exclusive consumer jurisdiction is agreed.

Withdrawal notice

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us ([Firmenname / Legal company name], [Straße, Hausnummer, PLZ, Ort, Land / Registered address], [Telefon / Phone], [Kontakt-E-Mail / Contact email]) of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or email). To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw, we reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except additional costs arising from a delivery method other than our least expensive standard delivery), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from receipt of your withdrawal notice. We use the same payment method as the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise; you incur no reimbursement fees.

If you requested performance during the withdrawal period, you must pay an amount proportionate to the services already performed until your withdrawal notice, compared with the full contractual scope.

Early start at checkout

The unchecked checkout box requests an early start and acknowledges the consequences. For a paid service, the withdrawal right does not expire merely by paying or ticking the box: it expires only upon full performance and subject to § 356 (4) BGB. Until then you may withdraw, with proportionate compensation where legally applicable under § 357a (2) BGB. Acceptance including this declaration must be confirmed on a durable medium.

Digital content

For paid digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, withdrawal expires only subject to § 356 (5) BGB: express consent to an early start, acknowledgement of losing the right when performance begins, and confirmation on a durable medium. Human-delivered team services follow the service rule above.

Website and infrastructure

Technical connection data and server logs are processed to operate and secure the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, legitimate interests in operation and security). Accounts and application data are processed through Lovable Cloud using Supabase database and authentication services. Contracted processors and subprocessors must be confirmed before approval. Account and email sign-in

Your email and authentication data are used to create an account, send email sign-in links and manage sessions; the member record stores your supplied name, phone and move details (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, contract and requested pre-contractual steps). A sign-in link is sent by email.

Authorities and specialist requests

Separately accepted authority text, version, time, scope and browser identifier are retained as evidence. Concierge requests contain their purpose, details and status (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR; evidence and legal claims under Art. 6 (1) (f); applicable legal duties under Art. 6 (1) (c)). A visa request creates no insurance relationship.

Passport and travel data

You may save names, date of birth, nationality, passport number and issue/expiry dates in your portal. Visa requests contain destination, nationality, purpose, dates and travellers. Processing serves your requested service (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and specific consent where given (Art. 6 (1) (a)). The public Quick Visa form does not request passport numbers. Customer-portal access is limited to your account; authorised operators and processors may access data for service and security. Authority disclosure is only for the expressly requested purpose.

Orders and Stripe

Orders retain reference, product, amount, email, payment state and fulfilment state. Stripe processes payment and transaction details entered on its payment page. Our order table stores payment references, not full card details (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for the contract; (c) for statutory invoice and retention duties). Stripe may be an independent controller for its own statutory purposes.

Conversations with Arthur

Text messages and conversation context are sent to this project’s configured Lovable AI Gateway, which connects the model service. Voice calls also transmit audio and transcripts. This provides your requested answer or voice service (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Microphone access requires browser permission. Do not send passport numbers, medical information or sensitive documents in chat. The application does not store conversations as account records; this does not guarantee no retention by the gateway or model provider. Broker recipient – only with authority

Only if you explicitly request insurance assistance and grant its authority does the partner broker receive the necessary details: Kanzlei PKV Expertise, Dipl.-Kfm. Patrick Tschorsch, Zum Riedensee 28, 18225 Kühlungsborn, Deutschland. Brokerage is under the broker’s own responsibility. Membership, visa and package purchases alone do not authorise disclosure. Medical data may require separate explicit consent under Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR; no blanket permission is given here.

We delete or restrict data when its purpose ends, unless legal retention or necessary evidence requires otherwise. You can delete local drafts and plans in your browser.

Your rights and withdrawing authority

You have statutory rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You can withdraw consent for the future without affecting previous lawful processing. Withdraw authority with your request reference to our privacy contact and, for insurance, also to the broker. Submitted authority proceedings and legal evidence cannot automatically be reversed. Cookies and local storage

Essential session and security technologies support sign-in and delivery (§ 25 (2) TDDDG; Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR). No analytics or marketing tools are integrated; both categories stay off. Cart product keys and quantities, cookie preferences, moving profile/tasks, calculator inputs, recent searches/countries and visa drafts are stored locally in your browser. Visa drafts support your expressly requested save-and-continue journey. You can delete these data in your browser. External fonts load from Google Fonts, transmitting technical connection data to Google (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, consistent presentation).

Partner disclosure

GlobalCitizen.guide and the seven specialist publications in preparation belong to GMC Publishing’s publishing brand, not seven separate operating companies. PassportCard is a labelled external insurance partner, not our own publication or editorial wordmark.

Partner content and paid placements are labelled. The partner broker receives commission included in the insurance premium upon conclusion of a contract. Provider capabilities and comparison criteria are not blanket awards. Specialist brokerage requires separate authority.
